Strategy for 2013-2020

As a result of the consolidation work, the Management Board of Grupa Azoty has updated “The Strategy of Grupa Azoty for 2013-2020”.

Taking into account the ongoing process of the Group’s development, a specially appointed team responsible for consolidation has developed an updated “Strategy of Grupa Azoty for 2013-2020” enriched with the opportunities opened by the consolidation with Grupa Azoty Puławy which include, among others, improving  customer service capabilities, higher profitability resulting from upgrading the supply chain management system, improving the availability and use of storage and transshipment infrastructure within the Group, developing the value management model which will allow to implement the Group’s Strategy by the management team and to support R&D activities by two centers of competence: Competence Centre PUŁAWY in Puławy (for fertilizers) and Chemical Centre of Technology and Development in Tarnów (for chemicals).

Furthermore, the updated document introduces to main stakeholders the strategic intentions in key production areas, innovation, operations as well as commercial and financial policy. The adopted ”Strategy ...” also presents goals and methodology of corporate governance within Grupa Azoty.

By the end of the decade, we will:
  • be listed on the main index of the Warsaw Stock Exchange,
  • ensure that the companies’ Shareholders obtain one of the highest returns on invested capital in the industry,
  • maintain our standing position as one of Europe’s three largest fertilizer manufacturers.
