Fertiliser consisting of uniform light-grey to dark-grey or light-pink granules, grain class 2-5 mm, at least 92%. Coated granules, without permanent caking characteristics. Bulk density: 0.9-1.0 kg/dm3. POLIFOSKA® PLUS contains 5% of nitrogen (N) nitrates, 10% of phosphorus (P2O5) soluble in neutral ammonium citrate and water, i.e. available in the form of mono- and bi-ammonium phosphorus, including 8% soluble in water. The fertiliser contains 20% of water-soluble potassium (K2O) in the form of potassium chloride, i.e. potash salt, 7% of total magnesium (MgO) in carbonate form and 9% of water-soluble sulphur trioxide (SO3), in sulphate form.
Ammonia nitrogen is not washed out of the soil, but is slowly absorbed by plants, strengthening their root system, facilitating absorption of phosphorus and limiting excess absorption of potassium. The use of ammonium phosphorus and 1:2 phosphorus-to-potassium ratio guarantee optimum uptake, better plant rooting and proper plant development from the postemergence period. Magnesium, which plays a vital part in photosynthesis and other processes, is poorly absorbed by young plants. To facilitate winter grains' absorption of micro-elements in autumn, the fertiliser contains a 9% addition of sulphur, which increases the resistance of plants before the onset of winter and improves the crop's biological value.
Use and application
The fertiliser is recommended for all cultivated crops: winter and spring grains, particularly if little farmyard manure is available, industrial and root plants, on grassland, as well as in the cultivation of vegetables and fruit. POLIFOSKA® PLUS is recommended for soil with low potassium and magnesium content, in conditions of low organic fertilisation and for plants with considerable potassium and magnesium requirements, such as sugar beet, potato, corn, rape, and legumes.
The highest effectiveness is obtained with POLIFOSKA® when used prior to sowing, mixed with soil to a depth of 10-20 cm. This fertiliser can also be used early in spring, for top dressing on winter plants. Permanent crops should be fertilised in spring.
Immediately before spreading, POLIFOSKA® PLUS can be mixed with urea, ammonium nitrate and nitro-chalk, and at any time with potash salt.
Packaging, storage and transport
Overprinted polyethylene bags with a net content of 50 kg should be stored in 10 layers at the most. Flexible containers of 500 kg or less can be stored in stacks of up to three layers, or in stacks of two layers if their weight exceeds 500 kg. In the case of pallet storage, loading units of up to 0.9 m are stored in stacks of four layers, and loading units of 0.9 m up to 1.8 m - in stacks of no more than 3.6 m.
The fertiliser should be stored in clean and dry warehouse buildings and protected against atmospheric conditions (solar radiation, rainwater).
In the course of transportation, handling and storage, applicable regulations should be observed.
In the event of skin or eye irritation, wash with plenty of water. Dust masks and safety goggles are recommended. In the event of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice. The fertiliser is nontoxic, odourless and non-flammable.
