Fertilizers are the principal production segment of the Grupa Azoty Group. Well-known and long-established fertilizer companies (based in Tarnów, Kędzierzyn-Koźle, Police, Puławy, as well as Gdańsk and Chorzów) have combined their capabilities within a newly formed Group which holds the greatest potential in Poland for the production of compound and nitrogen fertilizers, including sulfur-containing nitrogen fertilizers and liquid fertilizers.
Plastics is the next largest business area of the Grupa Azoty Group. The leading product in this segment is polyamides: Tarnamid® and Alphalon® produced at the Tarnów and Guben (Germany) plants are available in a full range of viscosities in their natural and various modified forms.
Oxoplast is an important segment of the Grupa Azoty Group’s business, comprising organic products. Its main products are OXO alcohols, plasticizers and aldehydes.
