The concentration and timing of application should be determined on the basis of the nitrogen demand of the plants and the condition of the plants. You should use the solution concentrations that are safe for plants. The treatment is best performed on cloudy days, with high air humidity, with full turgidity of plant tissues. Performing the treatment on a warm day significantly reduces its effectiveness, stresses the plants and may cause damage (burns). Foliar fertilization should be performed in the evening or in the morning, on dry plants, in windless periods. It is best to use a first hours of the drop treatment in order to cover the leaf surface better.
To prepare 100 l of working liquid with a concentration of 5%, use 5 kg of Prilled urea 46% fertilizer (that is, in order to prepare 200 l of working liquid with a concentration of 5%, use 10 kg of Prilled urea 46% fertilizer) and mix until the granules are completely dissolved.
Prilled urea 46% is available in 500 kg big bags and in bulk.

This fertiliser contains urea, which can release ammonia and have an impact on air quality. Depending on local conditions, appropriate remediation measures must be taken.
