Tarnamid® A (PA 66) is a range of modified engineering plastics in granulated form, produced from polyamide 66 (PA66), for manufacturing by injection moulding.

The main properties of Tarnamid® A are:See more
  • high thermal resistance,
  • mechanical strength and rigidity,
  • excellent processing properties.
Applications and useSee more
  • fibreglass reinforced grades – used in manufacturing parts with increased mechanical strength and rigidity, especially in the automotive industry, electrical engineering, machine parts,
  • grades with mineral filler – used in manufacturing parts with increased rigidity and dimensional stability,
  • flame-retardant halogen-free grades – used in manufacturing of parts in electrical engineering and electronics with decreased flammability; does not release toxic gases during burning and are not susceptible to releasing smoke,
  • non-reinforced grades – used in the automotive industry, electrical engineering, machine parts, furniture industry and production of film; available in natural colour or as agreed upon with consumer,
  • impact resistant grades – used in automotive industry, for manufacturing of machine parts, in the furniture industry, characterized by greater impact resistance, also in the dry state,
  • grades with improved sliding properties – used in friction pairs; characterized by low friction coefficient and increased wear resistance.
Packing and transportSee more
Tarnamid® A is packed into:
  • ALU/PE welded bags, with the net weight of 25 kg, which are formed on pallets with weight up to 1000 kg and wrapped with stretch foil,
  • into octabins with net mass up to 1000 kg,
  • other kind of packaging agreed with customer.

Loading units on pallets are wrapped in stretch foil.

Tarnamid® A should be transported in covered means of transport
Transport conditions should protect the bags from damage, moisture and impurities. The piling of pallets is not allowed.
