Melamine is a non-toxic, non-flammable product in the form of white powder, which does not react with the air to give an explosive mixture. Its characteristic features include high surface hardness and resistance to water, temperature, light and stray currents. Melamine is non-toxic and non-flammable.
Melamine is an input for the manufacture a broad range of synthetic resins, used to make laminated decorative materials, wood-based boards, glues, paints and varnishes, including baking vanishes for the automotive industry, auxiliary materials for the textile and paper industry, as well as plastics consumed by the electrical industry and in the manufacture of housewares. Melamine is also used to make fire retardants and modify concrete.
We are Poland’s only producer of melamine and one of the world’s leaders in terms of melamine production capacities (96 thousand tonnes/year). Melamine is packaged in:
in customer packaging, on request. Melamine can be transported in any kind of covered vehicles, taking due care to protect it against moisture. The product does not qualify as a hazardous material under the RID and ADR regulations. Bulk Melamine™ is transported in special silo tankers used for carrying solid bulk cargoes. We entrust our transport functions to highly specialised providers of logistic services, which guarantee speedy and secure deliveries to any place in Europe.
Melamine should be stored in covered indoor areas, and protected against moisture.
