In view of the sanctions imposed on April 8th 2022 against Viatcheslav Kantor, holding indirectly 19.82% of the share capital of Grupa Azoty S.A. through related entities (Norica Holding S.à.r.l. of Luxembourg and Opansa Enterprises Limited of Cyprus and Rainbee Holdings Limited of Cyprus), the Company announces that: Viatcheslav Kantor is not a beneficial owner of the Company within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/849 of the European Parliament and of the Council; Viatcheslav Kantor neither owns nor has control over the Company within the meaning of the EU sanctions legislation, including Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014.
The index was published on December 20, 2021. The index portfolio includes blocks of shares of 140 companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, classified in the WIG20, mWIG40 and sWIG80 index portfolios.
