At its meeting held on April 5th 2016, the Supervisory Board of Grupa Azoty Puławy made changes to the composition of the Management Board.
The Supervisory Board resolved to appoint Mariusz Bober as the new acting President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe Puławy S.A. Mariusz Bober is also President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A. It is a strategic decision that will streamline the management of Grupa Azoty and step up its integration.
The Supervisory Board also decided to enlarge the composition of the Management Board by appointing Zbigniew Gagat and Jacek Janiszek as new Vice-Presidents of the Management Board.
Continuous growth and innovation, supported by further integration of the Group, remain Grupa Azoty S.A.’s priorities. Therefore, having regard to the Group’s strategic objectives, the Supervisory Board additionally appointed Mariusz Bober, President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A., as acting President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty Puławy.
The decision is of strategic importance for further growth of the entire Grupa Azoty Group. Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe Puławy S.A. is the largest key company of the Group. This is why entrusting the management of this company to the President of the entire Grupa Azoty Group will support deeper integration to achieve further growth of the Group, both on the Polish and European markets.
Marian Rybak and Zenon Pokojski, current President and Vice-President of the Management Board, have been suspended from duties. Wojciech Kozak, Vice-President of the Management Board, elected on behalf of the employees, continues to serve on the Management Board. His mandate will expire on the date of the Annual General Meeting of Grupa Azoty Puławy.Mariusz Bober, acting President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe Puławy S.A. decided not to receive remuneration for holding a position at Grupa Azoty Puławy.
