Grupa Azoty Compounding has obtained the prestigious IATF 16949:2016 certification, confirming the highest quality standards in the use of modified plastics within the automotive industry. The certification demonstrates that Grupa Azoty Compounding’s production standards meet strict requirements in terms of precision, reliability, and compliance with automotive industry expectations. Importantly, this certificate is required by the world's largest car manufacturers—its acquisition therefore opens the door for the Group’s products to reach new customers in the automotive sector.

It means new opportunities to collaborate with global manufacturers and suppliers, and above all, it enhances the competitiveness of our plastics business,’ says Andrzej Dawidowski, Vice President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A., responsible among others for the plastics segment.
The certification process consisted of three stages:
‘The certification process lasted several months and required appropriate training, internal audits, and supplementation of documentation with the necessary system records. The positive decision following the completion of the process confirms that the strategy we’ve adopted and our production standards meet the highest demands of the automotive industry,’ emphasizes Dariusz Cholewa, President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty Compounding.
