Grupa Azoty Compounding, a subsidiary of the Grupa Azoty Capital Group, has successfully completed the implementation of advanced software for production planning and scheduling—ASPROVA APS and the XPRIMER.MES system for monitoring and recording production. The integration of these systems into the company’s production management marks a significant step in enhancing operational processes and increasing production potential.
The decision to adopt ASPROVA APS was driven by its ability to easily reflect the specific characteristics of the enterprise and its capacity for independent parameter modification and "what-if" scenario simulations. These simulation tools allow for the creation of multiple development scenarios and the examination of their effects. Meanwhile, the XPRIMER.MES system, part of the proprietary XPRIMER platform by eq system, efficiently monitors production processes, the status and working times of production resources, and the progress of order fulfillment. Implementing these advanced APS and MES systems reaffirms Grupa Azoty Compounding's position as a leader in the plastics industry in terms of innovation and the adoption of new IT technologies.
The company's digitalization of production planning and recording processes ensures high reliability of information communicated to customers and allows for precise cost accounting and resource management. "Sustainable development is not just a slogan, but an obligation and a part of our mission. We act responsibly, with care for the environment, and every project in this area is seen as an investment in the future," emphasizes Dariusz Cholewa, President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty Compounding.
As part of its sustainable development mission, Grupa Azoty Compounding systematically undertakes projects aimed at minimizing the by-products of production processes. In 2023, the company introduced a new product line, Tarnoprop PIR, Tarnamid® PIR, based on modified polypropylene and polyamide 6, containing a minimum of 30% recycled materials to reduce waste and deliver high-quality products used in sectors such as automotive and stadium construction.
Currently, Grupa Azoty Compounding is working on implementing the XPRIMER.CMMS system to digitalize maintenance management processes. With these technological advancements, Grupa Azoty Compounding is aiming for a strong position among companies setting trends in the Polish plastics industry.
