Grupa Azoty launches new product in its line of blended fertilizers

Grupa Azoty is expanding its portfolio with another multi-nutrient fertilizer — this time in a nitrogen-free formula. The new product, Vitaplon® PK 23-30, produced in Gdańsk, delivers effective performance from root to ear. It is especially recommended for winter and spring cereals, winter rapeseed, maize, sugar beets, potatoes, and grassland applications.

In recent months, Grupa Azoty has introduced a wide range of new fertilizers to the market. In 2025 alone, these have included: POLIFOSKA Multi S, Multi B, FOLIRES, RSM BioShot, MultiCorn, NITROGUARD, and the first formulation in the Vitaplon line: 9-23-30.

‘Vitaplon® PK 23-30 is another addition to Grupa Azoty’s multi-nutrient family. It can be used even when nitrogen fertilizer restrictions are in place. Since it contains no nitrogen, it’s more versatile — it can be applied throughout most of the year, except in conditions that violate good agricultural practice, such as frozen, waterlogged, snow-covered soils or those with standing water. On top of that, it strengthens plant resilience to stress factors like cold, drought, or nutrient deficiencies. This fertilizer from Grupa Azoty Fosfory offers the perfect blend of quality and performance,’ said Jacek Zaborowski, Director of Corporate Sales – AGRO Segment at Grupa Azoty.

Each 100 kg of Vitaplon® PK 23-30 delivers 63 kg of pure nutrients. Phosphorus and potassium are readily available to plants, while calcium reinforces plant structure. The absence of nitrogen allows for broad application across much of the growing season.

Key Benefits of Vitaplon® PK 23-30:

  • High nutrient concentration – rapid start and strong roots: phosphorus supports root development, potassium improves water uptake, and calcium aids in building plant cell walls.
  • Ideal for autumn and pre-sowing spring applications: especially recommended for rapeseed, winter cereals, maize, and root crops.
  • Enhanced stress tolerance (cold, drought, deficiencies): potassium regulates water balance, while phosphorus supports plant recovery and development after stress.
  • Free from nitrogen-related restrictions: can be used during periods when nitrogen fertilization is prohibited.

Application guidelines:

Fertilizer doses should be determined based on soil nutrient availability (soil testing) and crop needs (nutrient uptake per unit × target yield per hectare). Potassium supplementation is recommended, e.g., with potassium salt. On grasslands, apply in early spring and/or autumn.

Using Vitaplon® PK 23-30 helps reduce costs while ensuring abundant yields.
