On September 19th 2022, Grupa Azoty S.A. entered into a framework contract for the purchase of coal with Polska Grupa Importowa Premium that was awarded in a tender procedure. The Contract provides for the sale of imported thermal coal.
The Contract has been concluded for an indefinite period and contains general terms and conditions of cooperation related to the supply and receipt of coal.
Framework contracts for the purchase of coal have also been concluded by Grupa Azoty Puławy, Grupa Azoty Police and Grupa Azoty ZAK.
The total value of deliveries to be made in 2022 between the Seller and the Customers is estimated at approximately PLN 160m VAT-exclusive, of which around PLN 110m VAT-exclusive is attributable to Grupa Azoty S.A. alone.
Coal deliveries to be made under the Contract will be complementary to deliveries received by the Grupa Azoty Group companies from their strategic suppliers. The Contract permits coal to be redirected between customers.
Grupa Azoty S.A. may order further deliveries under the Contract in the future.
