Grupa Azoty to support winner of WordSkills Poland national qualifying competition during EuroSkills in Austria

The winner of the WorldSkills Poland National Qualifying Competition hosted by Grupa Azoty will represent Poland at the European skills championship EuroSkills Graz 2021. In Austria, our contestant will compete in the Chemical Laboratory Technician skill competition. Participation in EuroSkills will allow him to better prepare for the international WorldSkills championship, to be held in China next year.

A student of the Gdańsk University of Technology, our contestant prepared for the European finals under the supervision of specialists of the Special Analysis Centre and Research and Development Centre of Grupa Azoty S.A.

‘At Grupa Azoty, I learnt in practice what I had known only from theory gained during studies. A month of training at Grupa Azoty and, first and foremost, daily sessions at the company’s laboratories and training in chemical analysis have given me a strong foundation to deliver the best possible performance during the EuroSkills competition,’ notes Krzysztof Jasieński, the winner of the WordSkills Poland National Qualifying Competition in the skill of Chemical Laboratory Technician.

Jadwiga Konarska, Project Manager, Corporate Strategy and Development Department at Grupa Azoty S.A., and WorldSkills Poland Expert, will accompany the contestant in Austria as his mentor and expert.

‘I’m confident Krzysztof’s performance in Austria will be a valuable experience ahead of the world skills championship to be held in Shanghai in October 2022. I am glad I can support him during this educational adventure,’ says Jadwiga Konarska of Grupa Azoty.

The event will be held in Graz on September 23rd to September 25th.
