On August 27, Zakłady Chemiczne “NITRO-CHEM” S.A. signed an agreement with PROZAP Sp. z o.o., a company belonging to the Grupa Azoty Capital Group, for the design of an expansion project for its high-energy materials production facility. The investment, financed with the company’s own funds, will significantly increase production capacity in this strategic area of operations.
The expansion of the existing installation marks a key step in the further development of NITRO-CHEM S.A. The signed agreement will serve as the foundation for additional investment projects planned by the company in the near future.
‘This agreement is an important step towards strengthening our production capacity in high-energy materials. With this investment, we reinforce NITRO-CHEM’s position as a market leader and create a solid basis for future ambitious projects,’ said Arkadiusz Miszuk, President of the Management Board of Zakłady Chemiczne “NITRO-CHEM” S.A.
‘In line with the recent declarations contained in the letter of intent, we are expanding our relationship with NITRO-CHEM beyond purely commercial cooperation into technological and technical collaboration. PROZAP, based in Puławy and part of the Grupa Azoty Capital Group, specializes in designing industrial installations for the chemical sector and has a highly professional team of engineers,’ commented Dr. Eng. Paweł Bielski, Vice President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty, responsible among other areas for strategy, research, and investment.
The agreement with PROZAP demonstrates that the letter of intent signed on August 13, 2025, between NITRO-CHEM S.A. and Grupa Azoty S.A. regarding cooperation in the field of explosives production is already translating into concrete measures aimed at strengthening the company’s production and innovation potential.
‘Today’s agreement confirms that our declarations are quickly being turned into real action. It also proves the effectiveness of our cooperation with Grupa Azoty — a collaboration whose outcomes will matter not only for the company’s growth but also for the development of the entire defense sector,’ added Karol Przybyszewski, Member of the Management Board of NITRO-CHEM S.A.
The agreement was signed on behalf of NITRO-CHEM S.A. by President of the Management Board Arkadiusz Miszuk and Management Board Member Karol Przybyszewski, and on behalf of PROZAP by President of the Management Board Dariusz Tadasiewicz and Management Board Member Elżbieta Gęca.
