Adam Leszkiewicz has resigned from his position as President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A., effective May 9 at 11:00 a.m.
‘The past year was marked by significantly improved financial results, enhanced business efficiency, cost optimization, and substantial progress in transforming the Group’s business model. Over the past year, together with the entire Management Board, we have established and implemented a concrete action plan aimed at further improving the Group’s financial standing and ultimately achieving long-term stability for the entire Capital Group. The vision of a strong and competitive Grupa Azoty remains crucial to me, and I intend to remain actively involved in initiatives supporting the Group’s development,’ said Adam Leszkiewicz.
Adam Leszkiewicz has served as the President of the Management Board since March 2024. During his tenure, the Management Board implemented corrective measures that resulted in a significant financial improvement in 2024 compared to the previous year — an increase in EBITDA by over PLN 1 billion compared to 2023. Net losses were reduced from PLN 3.29 billion in 2023 to PLN 1.1 billion in 2024. The volume of products sold increased year-on-year by nearly 700,000 tons. Additionally, since November last year, the Group has been implementing the AZOTY BUSINESS Program, which aims at a comprehensive transformation of the business model.
