
Within the next several dozen hours, following completion of the necessary analyses, Grupa Azoty will resume accepting orders for nitrogen fertilizers and return to standard cooperation on current market terms. In taking this decision, we must take into account both the interests of agricultural producers and our commercial partners, as well as the interests of the Company itself.

Grupa Azoty confirms the information circulating publicly about the temporary suspension of accepting new March orders for nitrogen fertilizers. We categorically deny reports that production has been halted. Our plants are operating at maximum production capacity. We would like to emphasize that we are fulfilling all orders placed with Grupa Azoty before the announcement of the temporary suspension of accepting new orders.

On 2 March 2026, the Supervisory Board of Grupa Azoty appointed the new Management Board for the Company’s 13th term, appointing Marcin Celejewski as President of the Management Board and Małgorzata Królak as Vice President. At the same time, Aleksandra Machowicz-Jaworska, Deputy Chair of the Supervisory Board, was delegated to act temporarily as Vice President of the Management Board for a period of up to three months. The new leadership is launching a phase of fundamental organizational renewal of Grupa Azoty—one of the key players in the European fertilizer and chemicals market—focused on restoring financial stability, maximizing the efficiency of industrial assets, and steering the business towards segments with the highest growth potential.

The fertilizer segment remains Grupa Azoty’s core area of activity. In line with the adopted strategy, fertilizers are to underpin the development of a stable organisation with a scale enabling effective competition in the European market, while supporting food security in Poland and the region. The launch of a new product is another step towards building a stable, competitive fertilizer segment which - according to the strategy - is to form the foundation of Grupa Azoty’s business in the coming years.

COMPO EXPERT Polska has announced a market push in the segments of specialty fertilizers and biological solutions. During a meeting with its Authorised Distributors, the company’s management board reviewed the continuing growth in sales and presented a strategy to diversify channels for reaching farmers, built on technical advisory services and tools supporting fertilisation decision-making. In this way, the company aims to respond to changes in cropping patterns and the growing demand for precision agriculture.

GA Polyolefins is consistently implementing its corrective action timetable, bringing the company closer to finalising key capital processes. In line with the adopted schedule, a restructuring plan together with arrangement proposals has been submitted to the National Register of Debtors (Krajowy Rejestr Zadłużonych, KRZ). This documentation, made available to creditors as part of the restructuring approval procedure, constitutes a necessary step towards financial stabilisation and the successful completion of the transaction with ORLEN.
