We are perfectly aware of the enormous responsibility involved in the chemical business. We think of sustainability and corporate business responsibility as areas of strategic importance. Oversight of the sustainability management rests with the President of the Management Board and with individual Management Board Members within their respective remits. As the pursuit of sustainable development spans all areas of the Group’s activities, representatives of various departments and organisational levels are also involved.

We are a signatory of the partnership for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The progress towards these goals, which address a diverse range of issues, is monitored through the global indicator framework.

Sustainable development will be the Group’s priority until 2030, pursued through initiatives seeking to further environmental protection, social good and responsible corporate governance. Initiatives previously undertaken in these areas will be included in the Grupa Azoty Group’s ESG Strategy, organised around five pre-defined strategic pillars. These efforts will contribute to delivering the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, with the ‘Green Azoty’ strategic corporate project demonstrating the Group’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility .
