On 20th April 2021 analysts of DM BOŚ recommended BUY on Grupa Azoty S.A. shares, with the target price set at PLN 43.00.
On Friday, April 16, 2021 at At 2:00 p.m, an investor chat was held with Mr Tomasz Hryniewicz, Vice-President of Grupa Azoty S.A., responsible, i.e. for: Controlling, Finance, Financial and Credit Risk Management and Investor Relations, President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty Puławy.
In 2020, the Grupa Azoty Group posted consolidated revenue of PLN 10.5bn, delivering EBITDA of PLN 1.3bn, EBITDA margin of 12.6% (unchanged year on year) and net profit of PLN 355m.
Grupa Azoty has been included in the Łukasiewicz Index, which aims to promote listed companies involved in R&D activities. The index portfolio includes companies listed on the WSE’s regulated market and in its alternative trading system (New Connect) which have collaborative ties with the Łukasiewicz Research Network. The list of constituent stocks was announced on April 1st 2021, and the index will be published daily from April 12th.
Further to rumours circulated by one of the trade unions as to alleged plans to dissolve leading Companies of the Grupa Azoty Group, i.e. Grupa Azoty Puławy, Grupa Azoty Police and Grupa Azoty Kędzierzyn, we firmly deny that the newly adopted Strategy of the Grupa Azoty Group includes any dissolution plans regarding those companies or any resulting staff lay-off plans. We regard such rumours as harmful fake news and we urge everyone to refrain from spreading them. Doing so could trigger unrest at the Companies concerned and cause unnecessary anxiety among our staff.
On 14th January 2021 analysts of DM mBank recommended SELL on Grupa Azoty S.A. shares, with the target price set at PLN 23.65.
