Hubert Kamola, Vice President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A. and President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty Puławy, has been elected Vice President of Fertilizers Europe by its General Assembly. Fertilizers Europe represents the largest European fertilizer companies, and Kamola's term will run from 2024 to 2026.
"Grupa Azoty is a member of Fertilizers Europe as there are several fundamental conditions in our sector that are best represented by the association at the European level. The most important are: regulations for protecting the market from excessive imports, rationalizing expectations regarding technological transformation, and cooperation with COPA-COGECA, the European farmers' association. This also includes collaboration in the area of common food supply chain security and general regulations concerning our products and technologies," says Hubert Kamola, Vice President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A., responsible for the Agro and market protection sectors, and President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty Puławy.
Hubert Kamola has 20 years of experience in the chemical and fertilizer sectors. He also has international experience in trade, logistics, and strategic raw materials. For many years, he has participated in shaping trade protection regulations at the European level, initiating many solutions of importance to the sector.
