50% of material progress was achieved by the largest investment of the Polish chemical industry - the "Polimery Police" project.
On February 25th 2015, Grupa Azoty Polyolefins S.A. received a confirmation from Bank Pekao S.A., acting as the Facility Agent, that the conditions precedent under the Credit Facilities Agreement had been fulfilled. As a result, Grupa Azoty Polyolefins S.A. may now, subject to specific conditions for the first drawdown on each Facility and additional conditions for each disbursement, which do not differ from standard terms and conditions applicable to similar financing arrangements, apply for disbursement of funds under the Credit Facilities to finance the Polimery Police project. Thus, the last stage of the process to raise debt financing for the project has been successfully completed.
Between the late hours of Monday and early hours of Tuesday, a 96-metre-tall propane-propylene splitter was safely transported to the construction site of the Polimery Police plant. The logistic operation was successfully completed after almost four hours, marking the achievement of a key project milestone.
Grupa Azoty S.A. and the provincial authorities of the Province of Krakówhave agreed to collaborate closely to advance air and climate protection goals. The joint action plan, which part of the project LIFE EKOMAŁOPOLSKA – ‘Implementation of the Regional Action Plan for Climate and Energy’ was signed by Witold Kozłowski, Marshal of the Province of Kraków, Tomasz Urynowicz, Deputy Marshal of the Province of Kraków, and Tomasz Hinc and Grzegorz Kądzielawski, President and Vice President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A., respectively. The agreement, executed at the Research and Development Centre of Grupa Azoty in Tarnów on February 23rd 2021, commits Grupa Azoty S.A. to aim for the climate neutrality of its production processes and other activities in the Province of Kraków by 2050. The other attendees at the event included Marta Malec-Lech, Member of the Board of the Province of Kraków, and Wojciech Skruch, Deputy Chair of the Provincial Assembly of the Province of Kraków.

The use of Tarnamid MB AMB as an additive to plastics creates antimicrobial properties in products without affecting their existing parameters.
