Grupa Azoty S.A. and the Łukasiewicz Research Network – New Chemical Syntheses Institute have signed a letter of intent confirming further reinforcement of their long-standing cooperation in catalyst development. The cooperation will be developed by leveraging the parties’ experience, knowledge and know-how. The letter was signed during this year’s Conference of Polish Catalyst Manufacturers and Users.
The Agro Pomerania Agricultural Fair was held last weekend in Barzkowice, Szczecin Province. The event, accompanied by the traditional annual Harvest Festival, was sponsored by Grupa Azoty.
Grupa Azoty, a leader of the fertilizer and chemical industry in Europe and the largest hydrogen producer in Poland, is among the signatories of a letter of intent to build the Lower Silesian Hydrogen Valley.
In the three months to June 30th 2021, the Grupa Azoty Group posted a net profit of PLN 168m, an increase of PLN 111m on the same quarter of 2020. In the second quarter of 2021, the Group’s consolidated revenue was PLN 3,173m, up PLN 904m year on year. EBITDA amounted to PLN 361m (up PLN 46m year on year), with EBITDA margin at 11.4% (down 2.5pp year on year).
Assembly of 60 storage silos- one of the most demanding logistics operations at the Polimery Police complex has been completed. The operation lasted 3 weeks – daily, 6 silos were installed.
Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development’s Innovative Product Award went to Grupa Azoty S.A. Its biodegradable thermoplastic starch was recognised during the 28th National Potato Days at the Potato Poland Fair.
