Products manufactured at the Police plant have passed the tests and are available for sale. As planned, the Company's product portfolio is being expanded until it reaches the target production of more than 30 types of Gryfilen® polypropylene, including homopolymers, random copolymers and impact copolymers. The introduction of new product types is taking place gradually, according to a planned schedule, as positive product validation is achieved, both on the production side and processing validation at customers' sites.
Grupa Azoty S.A., Grupa Azoty Zakłady Chemiczne Police S.A., Grupa Azoty Polyolefins S.A. and Port Morski Police Sp. z o.o., as the initiators of the West Pomeranian Hydrogen Valley, are collaborating on activities focused on establishing and developing a hydrogen economy, particularly in the Province of Szczecin. The signatories are committed to creating favourable conditions for businesses involved in advancing a hydrogen economy and hydrogen-supported energy optimisation in the region. As part of the West Pomeranian Hydrogen Valley project, the unique Hydrogen Academy project has been established as a joint venture between the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin and Grupa Azoty Police.
The estimated production volumes for December 2023 released by the Grupa Azoty Group indicate that nitrogen fertilizer production at Group companies will be nearly the same as in November, with estimated volumes for December at 281 thousand tonnes compared to 282 thousand tonnes for November. OXO production also remains relatively stable, with an estimated 11 thousand tonnes in December compared to 13 thousand tonnes in November.
