With the use of AgroCares scanners, Grupa Azoty representatives are now able to perform quick soil testing for farmers across Poland. Based on positive experiences gathered in the pilot phase, all Company representatives working with farmers across the country will be equipped with soil scanners starting this year. Grupa Azoty CEO Tomasz Hinc handed over soil scanners to Field Representatives during an official ceremony held at the Fertilizer Trade Centre in Tarnów on January 21st.
Grupa Azoty Polyolefins and Hyundai Engineering Ltd., Co. donated 16 new computers for Primary School No. 6 in Police, which will be used by students for on-line learning.
The first large-size transport to the construction site of the “Polimery Police” project was successfully completed. In the 3-day operation, a 584-ton propylene tank was transported from the port in Police. The last stage started on January 17th at 23:00 and lasted until 3:00 am.
On January 8th 2021, the Extraordinary General Meeting of Grupa Azoty S.A. resolved to change the composition of the Company’s Supervisory Board by appointing Magdalena Butrymowicz, PhD, to the Supervisory Board for the 11th term as its new Chair.
Wiktoria, Magdalena, Katarzyna and Michał are the names of the new Grupa Azoty Brand Ambassadors. A record number of over 60 people registered for the 4th edition of the programme. In line with the programme rules, each of the four leading Group companies has selected one Ambassador to represent our brand during the academic year 2020/2021.
At its meeting on December 4th 2020, the Supervisory Board of Grupa Azoty S.A. resolved to appoint Filip Grzegorczyk as Vice President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A., with effect from December 15th 2020.
