Grupa Azoty ZAK S.A. is set to build an R&D centre supporting innovation in the OXO and plastics conversion segments. The Grupa Azoty Group’s Kędzierzyn-based subsidiary has obtained all corporate approvals necessary to implement the strategic project.

Grupa Azoty Group on the Peaks

The Grupa Azoty Group employees participating in the Grupa Azoty Group on the Peaks Mountain Relay Race plan to climb the highest peaks of twenty-seven mountain ranges. The project has been initiated by Grupa Azoty Police employees, but enthusiasts of mountain running from Tarnów, Puławy and Kędzierzyn-Koźle will also take part. The relay race will be held as part of the Chemist’s Day celebrations at the Grupa Azoty Group. It is scheduled to start on June 3rd in Świeradów-Zdrój.

PGNiG to remain strategic gas supplier to Grupa Azoty Group until 2022

On May 23rd 2019, Grupa Azoty Group companies delivered to Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A. statements to extend the term of their gas supply contracts until September 30th 2022.

Marked increase in Grupa Azoty revenue and profits in Q1 2019

In Q1 2019, Grupa Azoty reported consolidated revenue of PLN 3,365m, i.e. PLN 868m more than in the corresponding period of 2018. Growth in the prices of most products and the continuing reversal of the price trend for the key feedstock (gas) pushed up EBITDA to PLN 608m (yoy increase of PLN 205m) and EBITDA margin to 18.1% (up 2.0 p.p. year on year).

Grupa Azoty S.A. and Grupa Azoty Police named ‘Transparent Company 2018’

Two companies of the Grupa Azoty Group, Grupa Azoty S.A. and Grupa Azoty Police, have earned the prestigious title of ‘Transparent Company 2018’ in the third edition of a ranking run by the Parkiet daily and the Institute of Accountancy and Taxes, with the support of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
