Grupa Azoty to considerably reduce prices of nitrogen and compound fertilizers
With effect from Friday March 17th, the Grupa Azoty Group will be charging significantly lower prices for nitrogen and compound fertilizers sold via its authorised distribution network, adjusting them to the current market situation.This is another price reduction this year after the one made in February 2023.

Grupa Azoty Group publishes estimates of financial results for Q4 2022 and 2022
In the fourth quarter of 2022, the Grupa Azoty Group generated estimated consolidated revenue of PLN 5,107m and negative EBITDA of PLN -296m, with a negative EBITDA margin of -5.8%. For the full year, the Grupa Azoty Group generated estimated consolidated revenue of PLN 24,658m and EBITDA of PLN 2,545m, with an EBITDA margin of 10.3%.

KGHM and Azoty Group hold talks on expanding cooperation
During discussions between the management boards of KGHM Polska Miedź and Grupa Azoty Group, the former's involvement in the expansion of the Police Sea Port and ongoing cooperation in sulphuric acid production were addressed. KGHM has shown interest in investment plots that are strategically located and expected to benefit from the planned expansion of port infrastructure. The plots offer an attractive investment opportunity.

Grupa Azoty S.A. continues to release regular updates on estimated consolidated production volumes. The company has also announced a temporary shutdown of the ammonia and urea production plants at Grupa Azoty Police.

The company received assistance under the government programme "Aid for energy-intensive sectors related to the sudden increase in natural gas and electricity prices in 2022”
On March 10t 2023, the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A. was notified that the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management had granted the Company’s application for financial assistance under a governmental scheme to support energy-intensive industries in response to sudden increases in gas and electricity prices. The amount of aid awarded to Grupa Azoty S.A. alone is PLN 52.3m, while the total amount of support granted to the Grupa Azoty Group companies, i.e. Grupa Azoty S.A., Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe Puławy S.A., Grupa Azoty Zakłady Chemiczne Police S.A., Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe Kędzierzyn S.A. and Grupa Azoty Kopalnie i Zakłady Chemiczne Siarki Siarkopol S.A., is PLN 234.2m.
